A moonlit lake--a flock of bewitched maidens--a malevolent sorcerer--a brave but fatally naïve prince. This timeless tale of love and dark magic unfolds in a sumptuous production by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, with Tchaikovsky's haunting music played live by the Ballet Orchestra of St. Louis. The staging by Pittsburgh's Artistic Director Terrence S. Orr is rooted in the classic 19th-century choreography by Petipa and Ivanov. Heartfelt drama and spectacular dancing make Swan Lake the perfect event for dance fans and newcomers alike!
