Nobody knows Twyla Tharp’s sassy style better than William Whitener, once a star of her company and now artistic director of Kansas City Ballet. He leads his vibrant troupe in a sparkling medley of vintage Tharp, including the delicate As Time Goes By, the virtuoso Brahms/Paganini, and one of the most popular dances ever created—Tharp’s loving look at ballroom dance, the tender, funny and glamorous Nine Sinatra Songs.
