Dance St. Louis provides St. Louis residents with an unparalleled professional dance experience by presenting world-renowned companies, prominent choreographers, and acclaimed dance productions.
Additionally, Dance St. Louis conducts education outreach programs with presenting companies that include in-school residency programs, bringing dance to under-served children from kindergarten through high school at a time of cutbacks in the arts in public education. The programs also include Young People’s Performances at the Fox and the Touhill Performing Arts Center, reaching over 1500 students annually. There are also master classes for local dance students, and free Speaking of Dance pre-performances talks at all of our performances.
Ticket sales make up only half of the revenue needed to enable us to continue to bring the best dance in the world to the St. Louis community and support our acclaimed education outreach programs. Your contribution supplements ticket sales, helping to ensure that Dance St. Louis can carry out our well-established tradition of excellence.
