Robyn Mineko Williams and The Big Muddy Dance Company

Chicago-based dancer-turned-choreographer Robyn Mineko Williams (Dance Magazine's “25 to Watch” (2014), Chicago Magazine’s “Best Choreographer” (2016), Princess Grace Choreography Fellowship Award, Princess Grace Choreography Mentorship Award) sets her work on contemporary dance company The Big Muddy Dance Company, led by Artistic Director Brian Enos and Executive Director Erin Warner Prange.

The former Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and River Dance Chicago member’s choreographic work has flourished since her dancing days with Hubbard Street. Williams is lauded for her “boundaryless” ability to create across genres, with her work described as “passionate, moving, highly dramatic” (Chicago Tribune).
